Comfy Cup was designed to be a tea / coffee mug that wouldn't need a coaster. The hot area of the mug is kept away from surfaces via the use of a wrap around handle. The handle also enables the user to hold the mug in various positions.

 

The design was initially created back in 2009 whilst studying at San Fransico State University.
